Armchair Beneath The Same Sky
Alekos Fassianos
Alekos Fassianos (1935-2022) was a Greek multidisciplinary artist, educated at the Athens School of Fine Arts and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Alekos Fassianos
Over his many years as an active artist and designer, Fassianos developed a captivating visual and design language with motifs that unmistakably bear his signature, deeply rooted in Greek culture. His use of colour, light, and form reflects human experiences, mythology, and cultural heritage, with inspiration drawn from, among other things, Cycladic art, Japanese art, and Byzantine saints.
The collaboration with Svenskt Tenn was made possible through a close partnership with the family of Alekos Fassianos, who today safeguard the artist’s legacy. The collection Beneath the Same Sky features textiles and interior accessories with some of Alekos Fassianos’s most characteristic motifs.
